Mince Chow Mein

Mince Chow Mein

Ingredients :

2 packs of Indomie Mi Goreng Noodles

1 red and yellow capsicum (deseeded & sliced thinly)

500g mince

1 brown onion diced

2 cloves of garlic crushed

1/2 a chopped cabbage

1 carrot sliced thinly

1 cup beef stock

1 tsp curry powder

2 tbsp soy sauce

3 tbsp oyster sauce

1 tbsp cornflour

oil for frying

some spring onion to garnish

Mince Chow Mein

Cooking Instructions :

  1. Heat the oil in a frypan over medium heat and brown mince for 2 minutes, add the onion and garlic and cook until onions have softened
  2. Add all of the prepped vegetables to the pan and pour over the beef stock. Also add cornflour, curry powder, soy sauce & oyster sauce. Mix it all carefully to combine and bring to a boil. Let it simmer for 10 minutes or until vegetables have softened
  3. Prepare the Indomie Mi Goreng Noodles following the instruction then set aside
  4. Drain the noodles and stir through the mince mixture
  5. Garnish with some spring onion
